Zauschneria garettii 'Orange Carpet' adds a pop of color to any landscape with its red-orange flowers. Blooms appear in mid to late summer and are hummingbird magnets. Silvery-green foliage spread by rhizomes to form a low-growing mat make a nice backdrop for the beautiful flowers. Also known as Epilobium canum. Native to dry, rocky slopes of the western United States.
