Stunning purple flowers that emerge in mid-summer are a great contrast to the green textured leaves. The flowers are in spikes that shoot up above the leaves; the tall, sturdy stems make for excellent cut flowers. Leaves are long, narrow, and glossy, with scalloped edges. The foliage is also deer and rabbit resistant. Puts on quite a show throughout the summer. Also known as Stachys officinalis.
