I am extremely happy wereith the plants I received from Romence Gardens. They are full & some were already blooming. The were packaged very well without a bunch of plastic surrounding the plants like other companies I have ordered from. I really appreciate that because it's a ton of extra work to remove it & it's more junk for the land fill. I can't wait to see how the annuals I ordered do this year.

This variety is a little more compact than Black and Blue, Roman Red, or Rockin' Blue Suede Shoes and has a darker, more veined leaf. It grows quickly and blooms like crazy all season, and bees and hummingbirds love it!

Hummingbirds love this plant! It even attracted orioles.

I planted these in large pots in mid-May on my deck in full sun and they grew to 36". They bloomed throughout the spring and into early fall. I watered daily with drip irrigation and fertilized weekly with Jack's Blossom Booster. A strong wind storm snapped most of the stems in summer and after tying them together with a soft yarn, they kept on blooming! These are incredibly sturdy plants.
Hummingbirds and bees love them too.
