Rudbeckia hirta 'Denver Daisy' has striking yellow flowers with a dark brown center that radiates out onto the petals. Flowers attract butterflies and make great cut flowers. Hirta in the name refers to the hairy leaves and stems. This award-winning selection was developed in commemoration of the city of Denver's 150th Anniversary. An excellent choice for the landscape that will add natural elegance and bright color. Sometimes grows as a biennial or short-lived perennial, but often re-seeds in the garden.
