Excellent texture plant for the landscape. Has green fern-like foliage that turns yellow in the fall. Also, produces black berries in the fall that attract birds, but are not edible for humans. It is deer resistant, drought tolerant once established in the landscape, and does not require deadheading. Great plant for all seasons.
