Homeowner Growing Tips

Garden Phlox grows best in rich, moist soil in full sun. Fertilizing bi-monthly and keeping moisture levels consistent will help it thrive. Although this variety does resist mildew, it will still benefit from being watered at the soil level rather than overhead, and from being planted with ample space rather than crowding. Deadheading will prolong bloom time, but if you want them to self-seed be sure to leave some flower heads on past the blooming.
