Great for drying and cooking

Oregano is one of the quintessential herbs for sauce and soup making. Having smaller leaves than Italian oregano, it dries down easily but leaves retain a large surface area. Greek oregano is more savory than the milder Italian oregano.

It is used widely in the culinary world in tomato dishes, soups, pizzas, with vegetables, and on meats to name just a few. Medicinally used as a tea in immune-boosting blends. Cut sprigs from the plant when it reaches about 6" tall. For best flavor, cut before the plant flowers.
