Homeowner Growing Tips

It is simple to grow geranium in full sun to partial shade with average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. Tolerates minor drought, but thrives and spreads most readily in moist, well-drained soils. For larger crops, deadheading is tiresome and useless. It is possible to cut off side stems at any time to limit the spread. In hot summer climates, foliage may deteriorate after flowering. At this stage, it may be softly cut back and shaped to revive it.
