Tag is misleading in bloom color. 

Wine-red buds opening to white & pink, butterfly-like, flowers with white stamens. Flowers are born on wiry, wispy stems that wave elegantly in the summer breeze. Dark red foliage contrasts well with other perennials. Gaura is native to the southern U.S. This variety of gaura depending on environment, exposure, etc can have blooms that are pure white, white with a hint of pink and or even a light pink tone. You never know what color bloom you will get with this variety.

Ordered (22) Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink' for my poolside garden. The gaura was well protected in the shipping package and was in excellent condition. The gaura was planted three weeks ago and is doing great.

Doing well so far

The guara arrived looking a little spindly and fragile. I left them in the shade on my porch for a couple days and set them out in my flower garden about four days ago. Today they seem to be taking off - flowers and new growth already. So far they seem to be happy and look like they're going to be beautiful and do very well.
