This tall thistle-like plant produces an abundance of shimmering blue blossoms on silvery stems. This selection has non-spiny blue-green leaves. Grow eryngium in an area with well-drained soil. It is excellent as a fresh or dried cut flower.

Fast Grower/Pretty Color

In 2024, I bought seven of these for an area where nothing grows. The soil is so dry and gets eight hours of sun. The plants thrived in this area and grew so tall that I had to stake them. I am looking forward to how they grow this year! I have success with all of my flowers from Romence!

Unfortunately the pot fell over in shipping and dumped the contents. The bloom stalk was broken off but the plant was alive. I planted it and it lived but hasn’t bloomed again. Keeping my fingers crossed for next year.
