Clematis 'Snow Queen' has beautiful, bright white flowers that have slightly cupped petals and ruffled edges. Flower size is 6"-8", has showy burgundy anthers, and blooms in early spring and again in late summer to fall. In spring, the new flowers are tinged with pink or blue but fade to white as they expand.

It is part of pruning group 1, which has flowers that are produced in the spring and bloom on the previous year's growth. In general, they do not need to be pruned, but if it needs to be done, do so after the plant is done blooming (within one month).
