Brunnera macrophylla 'Frostbite' is a great alternative to hostas, which are the traditional shade plant and has solid silver foliage with light blue flowers. It is a vigorous grower and exhibits excellent heat tolerance. In early spring, panicles of bright, sky blue flowers are produced.
