Brunnera 'Alexandria' is a great alternative to hostas, which are the traditional shade plant and has solid silver foliage with light blue flowers. It is a vigorous grower and exhibits excellent heat tolerance. In early spring, panicles of bright, sky blue flowers are produced.

The plants shipped during an intense heatwave and arrived a bit bedraggled. I was very pleasantly surprised with the pot size and the care taken with the shipping. The few bedraggled leaves were removed plant immediately planted. They are settling in very nicely. New foliage is emerging and they and they are showing their prominence already. They are going to elicit many comments when we have garden tours. Thank you.
