This stunning introduction to the Decadence® Series from Proven Winners features unique bicolor flower spikes--the first of its kind in this series. The soft yellow flowers emerge in late spring to early summer and they age to dusty raspberry purple down the spike, so both colors show together. The charcoal-colored stems add another layer of vibrancy, making the colors really stand out! The plant has a very full and bushy habit, making it an excellent shrub substitute with a taller, more vase-shaped habit compared to other Baptisia. The plants were very tall in the box and they bent the tops of them over to fix them in the box which broke some of the tubs.

I had originally placed two orders so wouldn’t get free shipping on one but customer service employee (sorry don’t remember name) combined orders & I received free shipping. I have several Baptisia Decadence plants and I love them all. I garden in zone 8 in Central Texas and these plants do very well here. The Pink Lemonade is very colorful and easy to grow in my area. I would definitely recommend it.
