Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in average to fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Staking may be required so flower stems do not flop over. If staking is not desired, a good way to prevent flopping of flowers is to cut back or pinch the plant from late spring until about the end of June.

If wish to divide plant, it is best done in the spring.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let moderately dry out before next watering.
