Homeowner Growing Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil in sun, or part sun in hot southern zones, avoiding windy sites. New plants should be mulched well as winter approaches. Divide in spring, if desired. Be careful of treatment sprays (fungicide, insect, pest) the leaves are sensitive. Would recommend trying the treatment spray on a small leaf portion of the plant to see if it has any adverse affects first.
