    This stunning introduction to the Decadence® Series from Proven Winners features unique bicolor flower spikes--the first of its kind in this series. The soft yellow flowers emerge in late spring to early summer and they age to dusty raspberry purple down the spike, so both colors show together. The charcoal-colored stems add another layer of vibrancy, making the colors really stand out! The plant has a very full and bushy habit, making it an excellent shrub substitute with a taller, more vase-shaped habit compared to other Baptisia.     Homeowner Growing Tips

    Easy to grow in average to poor soil that is well-drained. Best in full sun, but it will tolerate light shade. If grown in too much shade it will need to be staked. Moderately drought tolerant once established, which may take a couple seasons. Cut back in spring, or whenever it gets flattened by autumn or winter weather. A long-lived plant; avoid disturbing the clump once established.
