Achillea 'Moonshine' is the perfect selection for those dry, sunny areas where nothing else will grow. 'Moonshine' has wonderful ferny foliage topped with canary yellow flower clusters. The plants begin blooming in early summer and flowers last for many weeks. If the plants are cut back after the first flowering they will rebloom again in late summer. A cross between Achillea clypeolata x A. aegyptiaca var. taygetea, both European species.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun, in sandy or other well-drained soils. Tolerant of poor fertility and dry soils. Avoid clay soils and windy sites. Deadhead back to side buds for continued bloom. After summer blooming, cut back to basal foliage. May be divided every 3-5 years in spring.
