This plant should be pruned in spring when the new growth is beginning to grow for the season. Prune the plant back to 1/3 it's total height. Also prune out any old, dead stems.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully and keep soil fairly moist, but not soggy or water logged. Need's plenty of root aeration.
