Hibiscus Summerific 'Garnet Globe' has beautiful, large red blooms that develop throughout the dark green foliage, which really make the blooms shine even more. This variety is smaller in height than the Hibiscus Summerific 'Valentine Crush'.

Hibiscus start shipping around the end of April.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun for best results. Keeping the plants well-watered will result in larger flowers and lush foliage. Deadhead to improve the appearance of the plant. Mulch for protection in winter.

Cut back remaining stems to 3" - 4" off the ground in spring before new growth emerges.

Watch for Japanese beetles that like to eat this plant.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering. Do not allow it to become waterlogged or soggy.
