Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in a sunny spot, or provide some afternoon shade in the south. Best in poor to average, well-drained soil; great in shallow, sandy, or rocky soils. Allow to dry out a bit between waterings. Plants will bloom in spring, may stop a while in the heat of summer, then re-bloom with cooler autumn temperatures. Plants are biennial, and allowing some to go to seed will ensure a steady crop in subsequent years.
