Homeowner Growing Tips

Sedges are grass-like plants that prefer rich, moist soil. This is a well-behaved plant--no need to worry about it spreading out of control. Clumps may be divided in early spring. If the tips get wind burned over the winter the leaves can be trimmed with scissors in the spring. Evergreen. Can tolerate dryer soil if in a shady spot. An improved sport of 'Evergold'.
