Homeowner Growing Tips

An easy-care plant. Prefers shade & rich, moist soil. Some morning sun is fine in northern climates, if soil does not dry out. To protect the crown of the plant over winter, apply a mulch, and wait until the spring to cut back the leaves. Division only required every 6-10 years.
