Lenten Roses bring beauty to the landscape in the winter to early spring, at a time when color is really needed. 'Mahogany Snow' has deep red stems and green leaves with flowers that begin as pink buds and open to white with pink reverses. As the flowers mature they change to a mahogany pink color. Homeowner Growing Tips

Amend soil with compost; Hellebores prefer moist, well-drained soil. Mulch every autumn. In spring, as flower buds appear, any tired-looking foliage may be carefully trimmed away. May be slow to establish, but they are a long-lasting perennial and rarely require division. Plants will flower the first year.
