'Frankly Scarlet' displays the excellent qualities of the Color Coded™ Series, displaying its gorgeous scarlet flowers on well-branched, sturdy and compact plants with a high bud count. The large flowers are single, and the richly colored petals overlap surrounding an attractive brown cone. Deadhead some stems to keep the blooms coming longer, but if you keep some seedheads on you can provide food for wintering song birds as well as added winter interest.
