Great plant

This is a beautiful aster. I planted it last spring and it produced a huge number of blooms. A beautiful companion plant to my apricot-colored roses. Unfortunately the deer ate a lot of the flowers, but not the plant itself. Spraying the blooms with hot pepper spray deterred the deer somewhat, but I was disappointed they ate so many of the flowers because asters are supposed to be deer-resistant.
