  • Pot Size: 8 Inch Pot
  • Common Name: Kangaroo Paw Fern
  • Light Requirements: Medium Light
  • Growth Habit: Upright
  • Water Requirements: Moderate
  • Expertise Level: Medium

A rhizomatous fern that typically grows as an epiphyte, clinging to high places rather than growing in the ground. The fern spreads by the fuzzy rhizomes you see at the base of the plant. It won't get much taller it but will spread horizontally if given the space. Provide medium to bright indirect light and water it when the top half of the soil has dried. It prefers high humidity, but should hold up ok even in our dryer winter conditions. Repot when root bound, remove dead fronds as they appear, cutting back at the soil line.

Botanical Name: Microsorum diversifolium
Toxicity: Not Toxic
