Plant in a full sun location with consistent moisture. Fertilize in spring and autumn. Plant will die back to ground each winter and will benefit from mulching at this time. In areas north of Zone 6, grow in a container outdoors during the summer, and bring indoors for the winter, reducing frequency of watering so it remains barely moist.
