Add a WOW factor to the garden with Buddleia 'Lilac Cascade'. This butterfly bush has cascading panicles of flowers that are HUGE! The flower panicles are light lavender-purple and reach a size of 12" - 18" long and about 4" in diameter. This is a fantastic variety that will put on quite a show during the early fall.

Homeowner Growing Tips

These prolific bloomers need to be grown in good soil or fertilized regularly to give them energy necessary to create all that sweet nectar. Water regularly during hot and dry weather to prevent wilting. Removing spent flower spikes will encourage more new blooms. Mulch in winter in northern climates. In spring, cut back to a 12" framework to encourage sturdy, vigorous new growth.

I live in upstate New York and placed an online order for two butterfly bushes and two other plants. It was the first time I ordered larger plants and it was a wonderful experience.
