Grow in full sun or partial shade, in consistently moist, fertile soil. Soil must remain moist in sunny sites. After flowering, cut back hard to encourage reblooming and fertilize with a balanced liquid fertilizer. Divide in spring as new growth begins, or immediately after flowering.
