Sedum Sunsparkler® 'Fire Cracker' is an improved variety over 'Cherry Tart'. It has shiny, cherry-red, succulent foliage that darkens to burgundy with gray-blue tips in summer, and an excellent branching habit that forms a dense mound. In mid to late summer, pink flower clusters approximately 5" in size cover the plant for up to 4 weeks. Lots of color for the summer garden!

Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun, or partial shade in hot southern regions, in well-drained soil. Tolerates clay soil; does well in sandy or gravelly soils. Cut back by half in June, to prevent flopping apart later in summer. Spent flowers may be left on through winter to provide interest; cut down in spring when new growth appears. Divide every 3-4 years in spring, for best flowering.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let dry out before next watering.
