Grow in shade or morning sun with afternoon shade. Lungworts prefer evenly moist soil; amend with compost before planting. Avoid letting these dry out in summer, or foliage may decline, and powdery mildew may appear.

Deadhead after blooming; old leaves may be removed as new ones begin to appear. Divide after flowering or in autumn, as needed.
