Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun, preferably, or dappled shade. Avoid crowding. Plant in moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Amend with compost before planting. Apply a balanced all-purpose fertilizer (e.g., 10-10-10) in spring when growth resumes.

Deadhead after flowering for rebloom. In early spring, cut old foliage to the ground; divide every 3-4 years at this time, if desired.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let slightly dry out before next watering. Do not let get soggy or waterlogged.
