Homeowner Growing Tips

Prune this plant in late winter to early spring above healthy buds or good strong/healthy stems about 2 feet off the ground to promote new growth and flower buds for the coming season. Blooms will grow on new growth, not old growth.

Prefers well drained soils and soil moisture levels to be fairly constant. Grows best in areas were light afternoon shade is provided, especially in hot climates.

Prune to encourage new growth.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering. Do not let dry out, but also can not be soaked or waterlogged.
