Ajania pacifica is an excellent ground cover. It forms dense mounds of silvery green foliage. This Chrysanthemum relative is mainly grown for its fantastic foliage and excellent spreading habit, but it does produce yellow button-like flowers in the fall. A great choice for rock gardens or even in containers if spreading is not desired.

Grow in full sun, or part-shade in southern climates, in very well-drained soil. Pinch back growing tips in June to promote a bushier plant. Provide winter mulch in Zone 5.
