Iris ensata Dinner Plate 'Sundae' has beautiful blooms. The petals have a backdrop color of very light purple, almost white with purple veins spreading throughout the whole surface. In the center section of the petals near the connection point there is a spot of yellow. The flowers develop on tall stems that reach above the foliage which is a nice shade of green. This plant really thrives in consistent moist/wet soil.

Cut back the foliage left in late fall, before winter to roughly just above the ground.
