This hosta has a dark green center with ruffled/waved yellow edges. The foliage naturally drapes down like a weeping willow on red stems.  A striking hosta that would be a good choice for adding texture and contrast to borders, woodland gardens, or container plantings. Hardy and low-maintenance, this cultivar thrives in partial to full shade.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Hostas grow best in moist, well drained, sandy soils, were the roots can get plenty of aeration. Prefer full shade but can tolerate a little morning sun, but most afternoon suns will burn and kill the leaves of the hosta. This variety can handle dryer conditions a little better then others.

Divide large clumps, if necessary, in spring when sprouts appear, or late summer. Remove dead foliage from the garden in late fall to early winter.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering. Do not let dry out, but also can not be soaked or waterlogged.
