Hosta 'Fireworks' has foliage that reminds me of feathers with their white center color and dark green edges that converge together by extending into each other's color section, creating a feather outline look. This hosta will add great interest to any container, landscape, or garden. In the summer, purple blooms will develop on stems above the foliage, adding even more interest.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Hostas grow best in moist, well drained, sandy soils, were the roots can get plenty of aeration. Prefer full shade but can tolerate a little morning sun, but most afternoon suns will burn and kill the leaves of the hosta. This variety can handle dryer conditions a little better then others.

Divide large clumps, if necessary, in spring when sprouts appear, or late summer. Remove dead foliage from the garden in late fall to early winter.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering. Do not let dry out, but also can not be soaked or waterlogged.
