Homeowner Growing Tips

Prune this plant in late winter to early spring above healthy buds or good strong/healthy stems for growth control and shaping. After first bloom trim again to healthy buds or stems for re-bloom in the fall. Blooms will grow on both old and new growth.

Prefers well drained soils and soil moisture levels to be fairly constant. Grows best in areas were light afternoon shade is provided, especially in hot climates.

Prune to encourage re-bloom.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering. Do not let dry out, but also can not be soaked or waterlogged.
