This plant has a fantastic abundance of rose-purple flowers that are brushed with a touch of orange. The foliage is evergreen and lance-shaped. Has an excellent compact habit and produces a profusion of flowers. A perfect plant for rock gardens. Native to the western U.S.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow Lewisia in full sun to part shade. They require sharply drained, neutral to acidic, moderately fertile soil. Amend with compost before planting. Form a small mound on which to plant, or plant in a raised bed, rock garden, or the face of a rock retaining wall. Mulch with gravel. Avoid excess moisture in winter.
