Filipendula rubra 'Venusta' has large, deeply cut, fresh green leaves and flower spikes, which appear from early to mid-summer. The spiky flower clusters are dark rose-pink becoming paler with age. A very nice colorful spreading native plant for moist, partly sunny locations. Also known as F. rubra 'Magnifica'.
