'Voodoo' stonecrop is a very popular groundcover for sunny areas. The scalloped leaves emerge bright olive-green, and take on a mahogany-red blush as they age; the plant will be almost entirely deep maroon in full sun, making it a great contrast to plants of other colors. The stems will take root where they touch the ground, making this an excellent choice for erosion control on sunny slopes, retaining walls, or along walkways. In summer, clusters of bright pinkish-red flowers cover the tips, and butterflies will soon follow! Turns deep burgundy in autumn. Evergreen in milder climates. Also known as Phedimus spurius.
