'Blue Marvel' has the largest flowers of all the nemorosa varieties. Large spikes of deep blue flowers are held atop a bushy clump of grey-green foliage from late spring through fall. Excellent for cut flowers as well.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun, preferably, or with partial shade in southern locations. Provide moist, well-drained, moderately fertile soil; amend with compost before planting. Reasonably drought tolerant once established, though blooms best with regular watering. Removing faded flowers helps to encourage repeat blooming; or you can simply cut the whole plant back hard after flowering is complete. In spring, cut back to 3" high; apply a balanced granular fertilizer.
