Huge, blue-green leaves have chartreuse-yellow margins, that widen as the plant matures. The foliage is leathery, corrugated, and slug resistant; seems almost indestructible. Named for the breeder who discovered it in the 1930s. Voted one of the top Hosta varieties in American Hosta Society polls. Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's 'Award of Garden Merit'.
