This Japanese Anemone hybrid offers such stunning, florist-quality blooms, it is sure to be a favorite! The Fantasy™ Series are bred to be compact yet heavy blooming. 'Pocahontas' boasts thick-petaled double blooms of bubblegum pink and lemondrop button centers. The flowers are held on strong woody stems covered with handsome dark green leaves. They tend to resist both slugs and deer, but they do emit a subtle sweet fragrance that attracts bees and butterflies.

Fast growing

The plant is growing like crazy. I watered it, let it rest a couple of days, and planted it with Biotone as usual. No drooping noted. I'm sure that it will flower in late summer this year!

I love that these anemones provide a pop of brilliant color among the fading landscape. As with everything from Romence, the plant was large and in perfect condition.
