Homeowner Growing Tips

Grow in full sun (or part shade in hot climates), in moist, well-drained soil. Amend with compost before planting. Good in a raised bed, rock garden, or spilling over a retaining wall. Avoid crowding by larger plants. May be trimmed lightly after initial bloom. Apply mulch for the winter. Dislikes the hot, humid conditions of the deep South.
