seem to be struggling in my setting

I've planted five of these in shade adjacent to patio stones. They're hanging on, but not lush. The ones established two summers ago didn't set berries this year; the ones planted this year are less prosperous than they looked when I put them in. Perhaps not enough light . . . perhaps not optimal moisture. Hoping they'll catch on. The plants are truly lovely when they arrive.
