Homeowner Growing Tips

Oriental lilies prefer full sun with the base of the plant in shade. Grow in well-drained soil; amend with compost before planting, and mulch afterward. When actively growing, apply a high-potassium liquid fertilizer every two weeks.

Spent flowers may be trimmed off after blooming; cut the plant to the ground in autumn.

Water Requirements: Water soil fully, then let soil get moist/dry before watering.
