Hellebores are one of our favorite perennials here at Romence Gardens, with some varieties blooming in our unheated greenhouses all through winter, and others continuing through the end of spring! The WEDDING PARTY® series from our friends at Walters Gardens offers stunning plants with large, double flowers in an impressive array of colors and patterns. We recommend any variety of these beauties for any yard with some shade!


'Wedding Crasher' produces soft pink flowers which are speckled with dark pink spots and grace the landscape in late winter to early spring. The flowers are 3" in size, have a double row of petals, and provide beautiful color at time when it is most needed. Use in woodland gardens, containers, or borders for an elegant touch.

Homeowner Growing Tips

Amend soil with compost; Hellebores prefer moist, well-drained soil. Mulch every autumn. In spring, as flower buds appear, any tired-looking foliage may be carefully trimmed away. May be slow to establish, but they are a long-lasting perennial and rarely require division. Plants will flower the first year.
