Aconitum fischeri produces beautiful, blue flowers on thick, sturdy stems that do not usually need staking. The foliage is dark green and deeply dissected creating interest all season long. It prefers moist, partially shaded areas and will begin to bloom mid to late summer. Beautiful foliage and blooms, just be a little cautious when handling during planting.

Beautiful late season color in a near florescent violet. The species A. fischeri is great due to its shorter height than most Aconitums.
